Summer Sounds at Sunset, the first annual summer music series supporting local music, is hosted by Historic Sunset Station.

Every Saturday night this summer, Texas artists have performed on the plaza stage competing to win a Cash Grand Prize of $2500 and a specialty Gibson Guitar and 1 free hour of studio time at Studio M. June, July and August semifinalist winners will perform at the Lonestar Pavilion on Friday, August 28th. Judges scores will determine the order of lineup and 100% audience votes will determine the winning band. At the Summer Sounds Finale, audience members can win a Gibson Guitar signed by the winning band. $1 buys 1 entry, proceeds benefit Music in the Schools.
