Sunset Station is designated as a National Historic Landmark. It has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation that restored the venue to its original grandeur.  The Depot, also known as, “The Building of 1,000 Lights” and “The Crown Jewel” , is adorned with ornate vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows and a grand staircase.

Historic Sunset Station was built in 1902 as the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, nestled in the historic St. Paul District of downtown San Antonio. Sunset Station offers a unique blend of culture, cuisine, and celebration.



Our 10-acre event facility features The Spire, a historically restored 1884 church building. The Crown is an historic three story hotel and apartment building featuring one of a kind meeting and event space.
The Pavilion is a multi-use plaza area, ideal for outdoor functions and live entertainment.  We welcome you and your guests to an evening of Texas sophistication and San Antonio elegance.

Functions range from 20-20,000 guests. We offer more than 100,000 square feet of flexible, unique venue space for planning your next memorable event. Sunset Station features an “award-winning” culinary and event planning team that will execute your event to precise specifications.
